Promession

Promession is a gentle, respectful and environmentally sensitive non-burn process.

It offers the opportunity to dramatically reduce the environmental impact traditional burial and cremation have on our most precious resources; our air, water and soil.

Promession allows the reduced remains to be buried in the living topsoil and there they turn to earth in 6-12 months. A tree or plant may be planted on the grave and will be nurtured by the nutrients beneath.

Although Promession deal with eco-friendly burials, the logo had to represent life and growth. This was done by making the letter ‘P’ represent a tree growing up from the hand. The fact that the human body helps the growth of plants and trees once buried also inspired the concept.
