My rebrand
1.15.2010 | Logo Design
Recently, as some of you may know, I had a re-brand of myself. Previously I worked under the name ‘Ezie Designs’ and you can read a little more about that profile here. I felt that this name did not really represent me and also many other designers referred to me as ‘Ezie’, a nickname I’d rather not have! I changed from Ezie Designs to my real name, Euan MacKenzie. Basically I felt this option would result in a far more professional look and I now feel that it worked.

My goals for the logo of my new design profile were to make it simple, strong, bold and memorable. I wasn’t hugely fussed about whether or not people would understand what the logo meant. For example, a monogram that looked nothing like my initials, as long as people would easily recognize the symbol after seeing it.
Here are a few other concepts that were made before reaching the final concept..
Here is the final logo.
The logo is made up of my initials E and M. They are formed in a cross shape to represent the Saltire in the Scottish flag.
Thanks for reading.

Great job! That’s a cross what I see first and on a second look the initials come! Love those hidden designs

Very nice! I like the site too, hopefully you’ll get that weird Chrome warning error sorted soon. It’s a weird one for sure.
